Description:
This is a Toshiba Satellite A55-S306 laptop, which
was used by Brian for many years until it met with an unfortunate
demise when Keene's young son recently poured coffee into it. This
laptop has traveled across the United States and into Canada and South
America with Keene. It was his constant companion.
It was used to write
the following books: The Conqueror Worms, Ghoul, Dead Sea, Dark Hollow,
Ghost Walk, The Rising: Selected Scenes from the End of the World,
Earthworm Gods: Selected Scenes from the End of the World, Running with
the Devil, The New Fear, Darkness on the Edge of Town, Unhappy Endings,
Shades, most of Fear of Gravity, and Keene's Dead of Night: Devil
Slayer series for Marvel Comics.
The laptop is covered with bumper
stickers, including Rue Morgue Magazine, Reel Splatter Productions,
Anthrax, Zombie Squad, Bill Hicks, and more.
If the winner so desires,
Keene is willing to sign the laptop.
PLEASE NOTE: The hard drive, which
was damaged, has been removed. The laptop itself no longer works. The
keyboard and internal mechanisms were also damaged by the coffee spill.
